The second Dental Task Force project is in response to several unannounced inspections of Dental Programs across the state of North Carolina from the Boards of Dentistry, Radiation, and OSHA. The Dental Task Force group of the Southern Piedmont Partnership for Public Health Incubator collaborated to develop peer evaluation audit tools. The group was unable to locate NC dental auditing tools from the state and used the nursing audit survey to help with creating a draft tool. Susan Johnson, Clinic Manager of Iredell County Health Department,  led these efforts and each site submitted sections of information to be used in the information topics (i.e., medical history, dental charting, General documentation, education, quality assurance, etc.).
