Impact Report: Cost Benefit Analysis of Northeastern NC Partnership

The Incubator Partnerships have introduced a number of project-specific innovations, but perhaps the most important innovation is the Incubator program itself. The Northeastern Partnership for Public Health decided to explore this idea, undertaking a cost/benefit analysis to ascertain the impact of the Partnership as a whole on the resources and outputs made available collectively and to its individual member counties. While the range of net benefits varied, all counties experienced a net benefit. The median benefit to cost ratio was about 6.5.  In other words, for every dollar expended on Partnership activities, $6.5 dollars were realized in benefits.
