Impact Report: Evaluation Outcome of CDP and BETS Systems for Management of Environmental Health Inspection Data

Environmental Health divisions in a number of local health departments have been automating their data collection and reporting functions.  Two solutions, one from Custom Data Processing (CDP) and one from the state Division of Environmental Health (BETS), have been widely adopted and are potential candidates for local health departments who have yet to automate their processes. The following report, funded by the South Central and Western partnerships, evaluates the two options.  More specifically the evaluations:

1) assess user experiences with the CDP and BETS systems

2) assess the development and operating costs for both environmental health data management systems.
