Regional Primary Care & Worksite Wellness
Expansion Task Force Serving County & City Employees
Created as a complement to the South Central Partnership’s priority to provide affordable basic primary and preventative care and workplace health promotion plans to low wage employees of small businesses, the Primary Care Access and Worksite Wellness Expansion Task Force comprised of South Central Partnership health department staff will hold a forum to highlight examples of successful county employee based primary care clinics.

The regional forum is scheduled to be held at the Stedman Education Center at the North Carolina Zoo in Asheboro on Thursday, June 5, 2008 from 10:00 am to 3:00pm and health directors and interested staff, elected officials, and city and county employees are encouraged to attend to learn more about implementing an employee care clinic and worksite wellness in their county.
